IGCSE examinations are taken in Year 11. The combination of subjects from different examination boards enables the students to follow courses most relevant to their situation as international students and provides a sound base for future Sixth Form studies. A minimum of four A* to C passes in these examinations, two of which must be in core subjects, (along with passes in the core subjects of the Spanish curriculum) are needed for certification of compulsory education in Spain.
Those students who wish to continue studying in the Sixth Form at our school need to have passed five IGCSEs, as well as the three Spanish subjects.
