On Friday May 25th we celebrated our annual School Fair, with the participation of all the teachers, pupils and parents from both the primary and secondary schools.
Once school finished on Friday May 25th our annual School Fair got under way. The fair, which we held in the grounds of our secondary building, was well attended, lasted till nearly 9 pm and was a great success. Everyone enjoyed a pleasant few hours chatting with each other in the cheerful and relaxed atmosphere. There were lots of fun games for students to play, various craft stalls and refreshments (cakes, pizza, barbecue...). There was also a raffle, with some great prizes and various musical performances by students and teachers.
However our fair is also a way to raise funds for different causes. This year we have once again raised funds to help Amnesty International. Members of the organization were also at the Fair to explain their work to anyone who came to their stall and showed interest. During the previous week they had visited the school to explain to all the classes how Amnesty works to defend human rights and how the students’ participation in the Fair could help them.
We would to thank all the students, parents and teachers for their help, effort and generous support.
