Sixth form

ACHIEVEMENT

We guide each student to help them choose the subjects to study which best reflect their abilities and interests. Great importance is given to critical thinking, reflection and dialogue so that the students feel confident in expressing their ideas and opinions, whilst receiving the preparation necessary for their future university studies. They sit A level exams as well as Spanish university entrance exams and they receive the Spanish Bachillerato qualification.

Recognition of British Studies

In Years 10 and 11 the students take 8 IGCSEs giving them a broad and solid academic base. This allows them to study A levels in Years 12 and 13. To complete their education, students take two additional specialist subjects in Spanish to aid their access to Spanish universities. In this way our students are prepared and qualified to continue their studies at universities in Britain, Spain or elsewhere in the world. They also cover the local requirements for achieving the “Bachillerato” (6th Form) qualifications which are currently:

  • 5 IGCSE
  • Two A Levels
